Information on Comics and Comic Book Heroes
DC Comics, the rival of Marvel Comics, has their own superheros such as Superman and Batman. Superman is the most common household name since a many years ago, back when I was a child. I recalled the very first time I watched Superman’s cartoon on TV, was when I was four years old. Since then the name Superman had been on my mouth and in my head. Then came along Batman, another addition to my superheros dictionary. Learning what Superman and Batman can do always surprised me, but then again that was just my childhood. So during these times, I came to learn about Superman and Batman and I am sure there will be more coming out soon as I grow older.
As I grow up, my childhood is leaving me and as I got so used to Superman and Batman, I started to become bored of it and that was when I realised that I needed something else to amuse me, rather than just Superman and Batman. To me, they seemed outdated and I need something fresh. Then came along characters by Marvel Comics, such as The Hulk, Fantastic Four and Iron Man. It was cool to see such new and lively characters. I really love the characters, and when they are made into movies I make sure I watch it in the cinema rather than on TV.
The results: I have fantastic adventures and so much fun watching the movies and I never stop watching them. I have always been interested in comics and their movies. I am waiting to watch The Hulk, and I can’t imagine how I will feel. I am sure I am going to have a good time watching movies from comics, and I do hope that they will keep on making movies out of comic characters - I am sure to watch them in cinemas. Comic characters are the latest addiction of mine, and something I hope I will never lose interest in again.
